Another great raffle here at @raffleready! The Cattery of Corpus Christi is raffling of a 2016 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium to help them raise funds to add an additional mobile spay/neuter clinic to reach even more people and pets!
The Cattery began in early 2007 as a dream discussed over dinner. Several exhausting months later, the dream blossomed into reality. We had an amazing first year, with over 100 adoptions and a lot of support from the community in the form of volunteers (over 100!), donations, print and media coverage, boutique sales, a full boarding area, and successful fundraisers.
However at the end of 2008, we realized that it was unrealistic in this economy to continue paying the rent we were being charged for our location. Supporters wanted to buy us a building but unfortunately we did not find one in time for a seamless transition. The kitties were kept safe in a building on a supporters land outside of the city limits and were taken to Petsmart Saturday – Wednesday for adoption, while looking for a new suitable home for our feline friends. While it seemed like a bad start to the year, the number of adoptions doubled and we ended 2009 with 231 adoptions! We found a new home for the kitties in April and by August the kitties were all moved in and settled into their new shelter.
Things continue to go well with donations up and the building of new quarantine and isolation buildings. We are able to continue our work for the cats and kittens of Corpus Christi because of generous sponsors and supporters!
The Cattery offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats. From there, we seek permanent, loving homes for these animals. In addition, our organization promotes public awareness regarding the value of animals and their welfare, the dangers of pet overpopulation, and the benefit of quality human-animal companionship.

The mission of the Autism Society of Boulder County (ASBC) is to help individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families develop a strong, united community by creating opportunities for people to connect, share experiences and build new relationships. We support continuing education among local service providers, schools and families, and are building programs for adolescent and adult populations to expand their opportunities.
Founded in 2001 as a parent support group, ASBC evolved into a local affiliate of the national Autism Society and supports families and autism professionals in Boulder and Broomfield Counties in Colorado. We are a volunteer-run, charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that relies on donations and proceeds from an annual fundraiser to fund our activities, support groups and various grants.
We are a registered charity with the Colorado Secretary of State under the name Autism Society of America — Boulder County Chapter. Our Board is elected during the ASBC annual meeting, which takes place each May.
The ASBC offers free services and support to an estimated 2,000 family members and autism professionals in our local community through education and awareness programs, bi-monthly e-newsletters, resource referrals and grants that go directly to families in need.

Many factors go into properly pricing raffle tickets. Here are a few things to think about before pricing your raffle tickets:
1.What is the value of the prize?
2. What price range are your potential donors willing to donate?
3.Will the ticket price allow you to reach your goal?
Let’s look at an example: The ABC School wants to raise $50,000. The ABC School has 500 families and anticipates selling ticket packages to 1,500 different donors. A simple math equation will tell you if everyone of the 1,500 donors buys only 1 ticket, you will need to charge $33 a ticket ($50,000/1,500=$33). Depending on the prize you may feel $33 is too steep for your donors. So lets take a look as a simple resolution; volume packages.
It is always beneficial to offer volume packages. Most donors when viewing a fundraising page with 5 different raffle packages tend to purchase the second or middle package. If the ABC School were to charge $20 for 1 ticket, 3 for $50, 6 for $80, 10 for $100 20 for $150 they can still easily reach their goal because many donors will elect to increase their donation above the bottom option.
